2022 Legislative Conference

TML's 2022 Legislative Conference

March 14 - 15, 2022 in Nashville

Join us in Nashville for an eventful day headlined by our state leaders addressing the legislation and public policy matters affecting your municipality.  In previous years we have been fortunate to host Governor Bill Lee, Lt. Governor Randy McNally, Speaker of the House Cameron Sexton, Comptroller of the Treasury as well as the many committee chairmen and administration officials overseeing the most essential issues of the day.

The TML Legislative Conference is a great opportunity to connect with your fellow municipal officials.  Make plans with your Representative and Senator to meet on Capitol Hill and discuss the needs in your community.

What to Expect

Monday's agenda will begin with lunch at noon followed by speakers until the late afternoon, after which conference attendees may make their way to the capitol to watch the evening floor sessions of the House and Senate.  Tuesday's agenda will begin with an early breakfast where several more speakers will present, after which conference attendees may make their way to the Cordell Hall Building to attend committee meetings considering legislation in the General Assembly.  A full agenda will be shared at a later date once all speakers are confirmed.

Register City Officials

Register Spouse/Guest

The form above can be used to register all the officials.  A second form is available to register guests and spouses, which allows individuals to pay separately from the municipality.  Access to TML's group rate at the DoubleTree is only available after a paid registration form has been submitted. The form will redirect to the hotel registration page after submission, and a copy of the link to the hotel group will also be included in the confirmation email.

***A note about hotel taxes: please remember to bring a copy of the city's certificate of exemption for state and local sales taxes that matches the credit card used in booking the room.  If it's a personal credit card the exemption cannot be used.

***The TML special room rate will be available until February 15, 2022, or until the group block is sold out, whichever comes first.
Contact Sylvia Harris at sharris@tml1.org with any additional registration and hotel questions.
