City Manager

The City of Watauga, TN (population 458) is seeking a city manager under the General Law Manager-Commission Charter. The position is part time, working 8-12 Monday through Friday. Pay is $15 - $20 per hour DOQ, plus benefits and a small 401k contribution. Manager is not required to live in the city. Position answers to a five-member commission. Must be a dependable manager with good communication skills. At least two to five years’ experience and/or training in public administration or a Bachelor’s degree (preferred); or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
