The City of Eagleville (Pop. 813) with its undeniable warmth and charm is a growing and progressive community conveniently located in Rutherford County.  The City is looking for an energetic person with a passion for public service and drive to meet and exceed compliance requirements to be its next City Recorder. Oversees public records retention and ensures compliance with applicable laws governing public meetings, record retention, and noticing of public meetings, including the creation of agendas and background materials.  Night meeting attendance is a requirement.   There will also be accounts receivable and payable duties required. The City Recorder will work collaboratively with the City Manager and colleagues to engage our community. The position also offers the opportunity for advancement with responsibilities in municipal finance. The recorder is appointed by and reports to the City Manager.  

Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, or a field closely related to local government management; or significant experience working in a municipal/county office.
