Finance Director

The town of Nolensville is seeking to hire a professional, qualified municipal accounting professional to serve as finance director. Under the general administrative direction of the mayor, the finance director directs financial and operational activities of the town in accounting, accounts payable, budgeting, cash management, information services, payroll, purchasing, and human resources/benefits administration.The ideal candidate is a highly professional, knowledgeable, confidential and ethical team player who can maintain diplomacy while executing his/her duties in an efficient and effective manner. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 6-8 years of governmental accounting and human resource experience is required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. CMFO required, or must be willing to obtain CMFO certification within 18 months of hire. CPA preferred.Starting salary (minimum $68,885) is dependent on qualifications.
