Financial Analyst

The City of Portland is now accepting applications for a Financial Analyst. Under the direction of the City Recorder, the Financial Analyst will perform, plan and organize duties of the General Accounting department, Billing and Collection department and General Administration.  Responsible for accounting and financial records for all City funds; Perform Treasurer and Cash Management functions; Assist in preparation of the annual budget and completion of the annual audit. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting and/or Business Administration, minimum of one year’s experience in the accounting field desirable. Successful candidate will be required to complete Certified Municipal Financial Officer (CMFO) certification wit in two years. Compensation range $45,226 to $63,100 with full benefits package.
