Human Resources Generalist/Risk Management


The city of Shelbyville is accepting applications for the full-time position Human Resources Generalist/Risk Management/ADA & Title VI Coordinator. The position will be responsible for daily operations in Human Resources as they relate to Benefits Administration, New Hire Advertising, Job Descriptions, Onboarding, and Employee Training.  Duties also include administration of the City’s Risk Management Policy and Procedures. 

 The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Public Administration, Business, Political Science or a related field.  Equivalent knowledge and experience will be considered.  Salary based on qualifications and experience.  Applications and a copy of job description may be picked up at City Hall during normal business hours. Applications must be returned to City Hall Administration Office, 201 N. Spring Street no later than 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2018.
