The 86th Annual TML Conference and Expo will be held July 9-12, 2026 at the MeadowView Conference Resort & Convention Center in Kingsport, Tenn.

Exhibitor setup will be available on Friday July 10 from 1 until 4:30 p.m. and Saturday July 11 from 7:30 until 9 a.m., ensuring ample time to prepare for attendee engagement.  
 
You will be notified by email when the hotel reservation block opens for discounted room rates and when you may register for additional conference events and experiences. 

Booth options are available to fit your organization’s needs: 

  • 10x10 Single Standard Booth: $1,100 
  • 10x10 Single Corner Booth: $1,300 
  • 10x20 Double Standard Booth: $1,900 
  • 10x20 Double Corner Booth: $2,300 
  • Triple Booth: $2,500 

An additional $200 fee will be applied to registrations beginning Thursday, June 11, 2026. 

To assist with planning, please note that cancellations must be received by May 31, 2026 to qualify for a refund. No refunds will be issued after this date.

Expo Vendors and Exhibitors May Register Now

If it is your first time to log into Engagifii, you will need to create a profile. Expo vendor and exhibitor registration is available under Events / All Events.

Each year the Tennessee Municipal League (TML) honors municipalities across the state for overall excellence, outstanding programs, and department accomplishments.

Any town or city that is a member in good standing with TML is eligible to nominate themself or another member town or city.

Winners are selected by a committee comprised of municipal elected officials, past award recipients, TML board members, and MTAS consultants.

Winners will be notified prior to the annual TML Conference and Expo and must attend July 9-12, 2026, in Kingsport, Tenn.

Nominations will be accepted online April 1 – May 1.

The Bob Kirk Local Government Leadership Award was established in 2018 to honor a municipal council member, alderman, or commissioner who stands out in public service and is making a meaningful impact on their community.

The award is named for Dyersburg Alderman and TML Past President Bob Kirk who devoted nearly 51 years to serving his city. He was widely respected and consistently went above and beyond to make his community a better place.

The selection committee will review each nomination and choose this year’s winner. The recipient’s name will be kept confidential until the award presentation.

The award will be presented during the 2026 TML Conference and Expo, to be held July 9-12, 2026, in Kingsport, Tenn.

Nominations will be accepted online until May 1.

Criteria for nominees:

  • Must be in elected municipal office at the time of presentation.
  • Must be serving in at least the second term of the municipal office.
  • Municipality must be a TML member in good standing. 
  • Must be involved in and supportive of TML and its mission.
  • Must be a role model for exceptional public service.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to be resourceful, inspiring, and inclusive.
  • Must create a meaningful impact in the community, guiding people through tough moments while ensuring the municipality continues to be held in high esteem.

Criteria for nominations:

  • Any employee or elected official of a municipality that is a member of TML in good standing may nominate a municipal council member, alderman, or commissioner. Note: A mayor cannot be nominated for this award.
  • Nominations should include background, contributions significant to the advancement of the municipality, accomplishments in the community, dedication to office, and other areas of service or recognition.

Criteria for nominations:

  • Any employee or elected official of a municipality that is a member of TML in good standing may nominate a mayor.
  • Self nominations will not be accepted.
  • Previous winners cannot be nominated. See a list of previous winners.
  • Nominations should include background, contributions significant to the advancement of the municipality, accomplishments in the community, dedication to office, and other areas of service or recognition.
