Compensation: $22- $26 hourly, paid for 80 hours every two weeks

Position Summary:
The Park Manager is responsible for the management, coordination, and oversight of golf operations at a government-owned golf facility. This includes supervising golf services, managing tournaments and leagues, teaching golf instruction, promoting the game  to the public, and ensuring high-quality customer service. The Manager also plays a key role in maintaining compliance with municipal policies and promoting fiscal responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Must have a valid driver’s license
2. Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
3. Minimum 3 years of experience in golf operations or as a golf professional
4. Experience in tournament management, instruction, and golf retail
Special Requirements:
1. Must be available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
2. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
3. Proficient in POS systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office
4. Knowledge of municipal government operations and public recreation preferred

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: The following duties are normal for this job. They are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, promote and direct all golf activities
• Ensure a welcoming, inclusive, and professional environment for all patrons, promoting a positive image of the
municipal golf facility
• Supervise staff and ensure each member has a current, accurate work schedule
• Oversee daily golf operations including tee times, pace of play, customer service
• Organize, market, and manage tournaments
• Collaborate with community groups, schools and local organizations on golf events
• Maintain accurate records of rounds played, revenues, and inventory
• Prepare annual and monthly budget and operating plan for golf operations; identify and present other options that will increase revenue or reduce cost while maintaining the highest quality programs and services possible for the patrons; take corrective actions as necessary to help assure that budget goals are attained.
• Prepare daily deposits and deliver them to the designated location in a timely and secure manner.
• Create and enforce in a consistent manner all if the Club’s rules and regulations governing the use of the golf course, golf
carts, and other golf facilities
• Provide competent golf instruction, and provide age and skill appropriate golf lessons to patrons; develop and conduct
golf clinics, junior golf programs, and educational workshops
• Cooperate with the Course Superintendent on maintenance issues that affect the playability of the golf course.
• Operate and maintain reputable golf shop and practice facility that features a range of quality merchandise and services reflective of patrons needs, Oversee the ordering of and/or may order merchandise for Golf shop, concessions, and facility maintenance.
