Corinne Gould is the Senior Director of Communications for TML, bringing to the role more than 20 years’ experience in communications in state government service and in television news.
She joined the League in 2025 and works closely with the talented team to enhance the organization’s outreach. Her approach honors the strong foundation laid by her predecessors while positioning TML for the future of advocacy and policy education.
Before joining TML, Gould served as Assistant Commissioner for Public Affairs at the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, where she led internal and external communications for 11 years. She earned national recognition for innovative outreach during natural disasters and animal health emergencies, though her greatest fulfillment came from sharing the stories of Tennessee’s farmers and forestland owners.
Gould also spent a decade as a television news producer at WSMV Channel 4 in Nashville, earning an Emmy award for coverage of the historic 2010 flood. Her writing has been featured in a variety of publications, including the New York Times.
She graduated magna cum laude from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in electronic media journalism and minors in English and speech.
Originally from Spring City, Gould now lives on a small farm just south of Nashville. She spends her free time showing American Quarter Horses and announcing at horse shows nationwide.
