The Town of Greeneville is currently seeking a FT Parking Attendant. This position is responsible for the monitoring of parking spaces and parking lot areas in the downtown Greeneville area as well as in other areas that are deemed necessary. It is the responsibility of the parking attendant to record and fine those individuals committing parking infractions. Additional responsibilities of this position are the processing of paperwork involving recording parking fines, fee collection for the fines, computer data entry, as well as possible court appearances for these fines. The person in this position is also responsible for safety issues regarding parking around the city, designing parking areas in the city, leasing out parking slots in the downtown area and collection of fees regarding leased spots.
A High School diploma/GED is required for this position, as well as a valid TN Driver License. This position also requires the ability to read/write English and walk considerable distances throughout the day in various weather conditions while navigating stairs, ramps and uneven terrain.
