The Town of Greeneville is currently looking for a Development Services Director to join their team. The person in this position will oversee stormwater maintenance, engineering, and capital improvement projects, while ensuring compliance with MS4. - Managing and leading the Town’s stormwater management operations
- Overseeing routine inspections of stormwater facilities and systems
- Working collaboratively with Public Works to develop and refine stormwater infrastructure plans
- Providing engineering services for the Town
- Supervising Planning and GIS functions
- Managing floodplains in accordance with FEMA requirements
- Utilizing GIS and stormwater data to help prioritize infrastructure investments and guide future development decisions
- Creating a comprehensive development resource inventory, including available land, utilities, infrastructure and potential development opportunities
A bachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in stormwater management with three years of supervisory experience is required for this position, as well as a valid TN DL. Proficiency in stormwater software and data management tools, as well as strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities are strongly preferred.
